I find it a bit of a saddening that THE one and only mod that makes D2 thoroughly enjoyable for me (stack size!) at the same time prohibits me from trading here.Īs of now though i have no interest in trading items since, me being on and off this game since its release (more often off than on though due to its addictive nature and my so called common sense kicking in) i am currently working on killing Baal in Hell for the first time ever and i want to do it untwinked with all self-founds and preferably on at least /players 5 (nice test of patience too).
The mod PlugY enables the player to undo changes he has made to his chars regarding both skills and attributes and for this reason (alone?) items gained while using this mod are prohibited from being traded on this forum, an understandable, if a bit harsh, reason as far as i am concerned.īut: Why cannot one just give his word that he has not used the mod in such a way? Or at least only for reasons like experimenting with builds? Nothing though can actually prevent the trading parties from just keeping their items except the fact that they have given their word.
As far as i understand it, characters (mules) holding the traded item(s) are to be deleted after the trading has commenced, so as to actually trade things and not "dupe" them. The thing is, I am wondering why a mod such as PlugY is not acceptable when it comes to the trading or giving away of items in SP. Instead of properly introducing myself (i will do this in another thread together with a couple of questions and "thoughts", please excuse) i first want to ask a question which "burns on my nails" as we say in germany, meaning which is really urgent to me (sort of):
